8123 Ehsaas Rashan Program is a subsidy program launched by the government in Pakistan, aimed at providing discounted household items to low-income families. The Punjab Government has launched a new web-portal where people can perform ehsaas rashan card registration online. Dr. Sania Nishtar, Chief Coordinator of Ehsaas Rashan Program, has launched an SMS service 8123 to check online for registration through the CNIC number. The new registration starts on April 1, 2023, via Ehsaas Rashan Program portal “ehsaas.punjab.gov.pk.” The Karyana Merchants are taking a keen interest in the Ehsaas Rashan Riayat Program in Punjab, and all shopkeepers are requested to register with the program and inform deserving families for early registration.
The program provides a 40% subsidy (discount) on buying daily use items. All families whose monthly income is less than Rs. 50,000 are eligible to apply online for Ehsas Rashan program. The Government of Punjab has inaugurated the new ehsaas rashan Punjab registration for 80 Lac families and allocated up to 100 billion rupees. There are three ways to complete registration for the program: through the Punjab Ehsaas Web Portal, SMS service, and Ehsaas Rashan Khidmat Markaz.

How to Apply for 8123 Ehsaas Rashan Program?

1) Punjab Ehsaas Web Portal
When you open the Ehsaas Punjab Rashan portal online, a two-step window will pop up. The following information is required to fill out the 8123 Ehsaas registration form:
- CNIC number
- Mobile SIM number
The Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is the primary information required to fill out the 8123 Ehsaas Rashan form. If you have any issues regarding the expiry of your CNIC, you must visit the NADRA office to obtain a new CNIC. The CNIC must contain 14 digits. You must double-check your CNIC number before submitting the Ehsaas form.
If you want to register on the 8123 Ehsaas Punjab web portal, you must possess a mobile SIM card registered under your name. Your mobile phone must be turned on during the registration process because you will receive a 4-digit PIN code on your mobile phone, which you must enter immediately on the Ehsaas Punjab portal registration form.
After you submit your registration application form on 8123, issued by the Punjab Social Protection Authority, Government of Punjab, you will receive a confirmation SMS. The SMS will confirm that your application has been received, and you will be informed about your eligibility. The Punjab Government will begin sending the confirmation SMS from April 1st, 2023.
2) 8123 SMS service
The Punjab Government has launched an 8123 SMS service for new registrations of the ehsaas rashan program. To register, send a message containing your 14-digit CNIC number to the 8123 SMS code. You will receive a reply informing you of your eligibility, and then you can proceed to register yourself. Please follow the guidelines below when performing these steps:
- Ensure that your mobile SIM card is registered in your own name
- Make sure that your CNIC has not expired
3) Ehsaas Rashan Khidmat Markaz
If you are unable to register for the ehsaas rashan program through the online portal or SMS service, you can visit the Ehsaas Program Khidmat Markaz in your nearby district or city. To complete the registration process, you will need to bring your original CNIC and ensure that the mobile and the SIM are registered under your own name.
