Anders Holm doesn’t look like his character on Comedy Central’s Workaholics, Anders Holmvik. They may have the same name, but that’s how they look alike. While Holmvik is unmarried and will probably never be able to raise a girl in a home for workaholics, Holm is married to Emma Nesper. Fans may know Holm from The Mindy Project as Mindy Khaling’s pastor boyfriend and The Intern as Anne Hathaway’s stay-at-home spouse. Holm and his wife met in high school/college and were high school/college friends. Holm told Harper’s Bazar that they first met at summer camp when he was 12, but it wasn’t until high school that he developed feelings for his wife. He said they met during a space bowling session when they were in high school. He watched her wear “those little white shorts” in the dark and thought, “she looks great from here.” He pursued her for months afterward, knowing that she was a “respectable and very intelligent person with a big brain, not just a pair of white shorts.” They started dating while both were studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Holm has a degree in history, and his wife has a degree in journalism. Holm moved to Los Angeles after graduating to break into television, which is easier said than done. At first, he worked odd jobs, but his perseverance and self-discipline paid off. Nesper met Holm in Los Angeles, where he began his comedy career. While Holm makes obscene jokes, Nesper works for nonprofits that work to alleviate poverty in the developing world. And around the middle, in 2011, the couple got married. According to the actor, who has been married to his wife for almost a decade, the secret to their long-lasting relationship is to commit to it.

Naturally, the next step for the actor and his partner is to get married, which they did when they had two children. On December 19, 2013, the couple welcomed their first child. The couple is very secretive about keeping their children out of the public eye. However, a few weeks later, the actor couldn’t help but share photos of the baby with fans on Instagram. Holm posted a video of his cute baby sobbing while wearing brown and gray pajamas.

Despite the fact that the baby was in pain, its funny dad made jokes by adding slow motion and loud and deep narration to the video. That was the only time Holm’s fans got to see their baby. He and his wife completely concealed the identity of their son, so much so that the public did not even know his son’s name. Holm and Nesper later had a second child. However, without much information, he told People in 2020 that his 2-year-old will eventually become a “great guy”.
