Justin Glaze and Susie Evans of The Bachelor franchise have confirmed their relationship status after months of speculation. Viewers will recall Justin and Susie from their time in the franchise in recent years. Justin appeared on season 17 of The Bachelorette, where Katie Thurston was the lead.
He later appeared on season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise but left without making a connection. Susie won The Bachelor season 26, while Claton Echard was in the lead.
While they did not get engaged, the couple dated for less than a year before splitting up in September 2022. Justin and Susie have been single since their last television appearances.
Susie met Justin shortly after her and Clayton’s relationship ended, and the two became close friends. She quickly became a part of Justin’s friend group, and some fans speculated that she might date Justin’s friend, Andrew Spencer. Andrew was also in Katie’s season and became close friends with Justin throughout the season.
Since becoming close with Justin and his other Bachelor Nation friends, she and Justin started hanging out more and more, usually on their own, without their Bachelor Nation friends.
Fans began to speculate about the couple’s romance because their friendship appeared to be more than just that, and it appears they were correct.
Justin said, “We have always wanted to protect our privacy, which sounds strange because we went on a show where our romantic relationships are far from private.” But we wanted to just protect our peace and control our narrative without putting any pressure on our relationship.”
Now, a few months later, they couldn’t be happier and even had hometown dates where they met each other’s families in Virginia and Maryland during the holidays.
Susie gushed about her boyfriend, saying, “If I am dealing with something, I just deal with it myself, and I do not know if I have ever felt like I could rely on someone to be there like I can rely on Justin.”
She became choked up and said, “It makes me kind of emotional talking about it because I feel like there have been so many times where he has just shown such good character when I have needed somebody… He has shown up and been so supportive, and I have never had anyone be there for me like that before. I have a wonderful family, but as a partner, I have never had anyone show up like he has.
We are overjoyed for Susie and Justin and are so glad they are finally together! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these Bachelor Nation stars.
Susie and Justin have recently made several public appearances, including the KIIS FM Jingle Ball and a Mean Girls screening.
There were also some flirty (sponsored) Instagram posts, which pretty much confirmed the couple was dating. However, they kept it quiet from their friend group so as not to disrupt the dynamic.
Now, the two are proud to share their happiness with the world. Susie stated that he showed up and was so supportive, and I have never had anyone be there for me like that.
