The Lubbock Police Department has determined that Brenda Valdez, who was 51 years old, was the person who passed away as a result of a fatal incident that occurred in North Lubbock on Wednesday morning.
LPD reports that at 7:57 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Clovis Road and North Loop 289 in response to reports of an accident that resulted in injuries.
During the preliminary stages of the inquiry, the Los Angeles Police Department (LPD) stated that it appeared that a truck tractor that was carrying a trailer was stopped at a red light in the 3400 block of Clovis Highway. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Valdez was driving an SUV in the 3400 block of Clovis Highway when it collided with the tractor trailer’s rear end.
LPD said that Valdez was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
