Charles P. Pizzi serves as Lead Independent Trustee of the Company. He is a Director of Brandywine Realty Trust (office real estate development and management), and also serves as Chairman of the Board of Independence Health Group and as a director of Franklin Square Energy & Power Fund, Franklin Square Global Credit Opportunities Fund and WHYY, Inc. (Philadelphia-based public broadcaster). From 2006 to 2011, Mr. Pizzi was a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, including service as Chairman from 2010 to 2011. In addition, he was a director of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange from 1997 until its acquisition by NASDAQ in 2008 and was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce from 1989 to 2002. In addition to the directorships noted above, Mr. Pizzi serves as a director of a variety of civic, educational, charitable and other boards, including the boards of Drexel University, Philadelphia Beltline Railroad, and the Board of Advisors of PNC Philadelphia.
