Chris L. Shimojima serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Shimojima is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of C5 Advisory, a privately-owned management advisory firm focused on helping its business clients with the challenges of ecommerce business, a position he has held since 2017. From 2012 to 2015, Mr. Shimojima served as the Chief Executive Officer of Provide Commerce, Inc., which operated a portfolio of online specialty retailers best known for ProFlowers, Shari’s Berries, Red Envelope and Gifts.com. Provide Commerce was acquired by FTD Companies in 2015. From 2006 to 2012, Mr. Shimojima served as Vice President of Global Ecommerce at Nike, Inc. Prior to Nike, Inc., he held various marketing and business positions for Sears Holding Company, Prudential Financial, kozmo.com, AT&T and Pepsi-Cola Company. Mr. Shimojima previously served as a director of XOOM Corp., a publicly traded company, until it was acquired by PayPal, Inc. in 2015. Mr. Shimojima received a B.A. degree from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Mr. Shimojima’s previous experience with ecommerce and digital business at various retailers provides him with a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by our ecommerce business segment.
