Derby Street Shops welcomes back the community as shops and restaurants reopen their doors and new businesses debut, including Gelato & Chill, SUNS Outdoor Furniture, and pop-up SOLO Golf. To protect its guests and employees and to adjust to new regulations, the open-air lifestyle destination has introduced innovative shopping and dining experiences, and property wide offerings, including its convenient Pick-Up Quick curbside service. We are overjoyed to welcome the community back as our shops and restaurants reopen, alongside brand new businesses debuting at Derby Street breathing even more life and excitement into the property. We have been working diligently to keep the health and safety of our tenants, employees and guests as our first priority, all while making the property enjoyable, accessible and convenient,” says Sherri Schuler, General Manager of Derby Street Shops.

More information on Derby Street Shop’s safety measures, openings, new offerings and experiences follows below.

Safety & Cleanliness

With guest and staff safety at the forefront of its priorities, Derby Street has increased sanitization practices, including thorough and frequent cleaning of all common area spaces using CDC approved disinfectants, with an increased focus on high-touch areas, such as doors, trash receptacles and furniture. In addition, guests and staff are required to wear face coverings as recommended by the CDC and in keeping with local government guidance. For those in need of a face covering, Derby Street is offering complimentary CDC-approved masks to guests upon request via the Derby Street management office. Hand sanitizer is also readily available in common area spaces. To promote social distancing, visitors and employees will be encouraged and reminded to remain six feet apart by way of helpful signage, and Derby Street has adjusted communal spaces and furniture configuration throughout the property.

As part of its new offerings, Derby Street has debuted Pick-Up Quick, a curbside pick-up program providing customers with a safe and convenient option for shopping and restaurant takeout. Designated parking areas labeled by color and number are available throughout the property. These support pick-up for any purchases completed over the phone, online or via third-party services. Businesses offering Pick-Up Quick include Nantucket Kids, Polkadog Bakery, B. Good, CAVA, Crate & Barrel, and Barnes & Noble. A complete list of participating businesses will be kept up-to-date online,

New Openings & In-Store Shopping

This month, Derby Street Shops debuts three new businesses. The much-anticipated, local family-owned gelato shop, Gelato & Chill, has opened its doors for takeout, and locally-owned men’s golf apparel brand, SOLO Golf, which opened as a pop-up on June 20, is offering in-store browsing. European furniture brand, SUNS Outdoor Furniture will debut its sprawling new showroom in the coming weeks.

Both local and national businesses at Derby Street have reopened for in-store shopping at a limited capacity and in compliance with government safety regulations.
