How to Get The Black Knife Armor in Elden Ring

The Black Knife Set in Elden Ring is an armor set identical to what is worn by the Black Knife Assassin boss that players will encounter in the Deathtouched Catacombs and Sage’s Cave. The equipment features a dark and ominous design with an ethereal-like veil shrouding the armor. The Black Knife Set is the perfect embodiment of gear for those playing as an assassin or bandit-style build in Elden Ring. The armor set’s location is straightforward to find, with the equipment being effortless to acquire. However, Tarnished will need to progress through a significant portion of the map to obtain the armor.

To get the Black Knife Amor Set in Elden Ring, players must reach the Mountaintops of the Giants, the region to the far north of the Lands Between. After passing through the Stormveil Castle, Tarnished must travel across Liurnia and the Atlus Plateau. Yet, the Atlus Plateau is not accessible until players have activated the Grand Lift of Dectus by collecting the two halves of the Dectus Medallion. Once players have made their way through the massive Royal Capital of Leyndell, they can travel to the Grand Lift of Rold.

The Grand Lift of Rold will let players enter the east side of the Mountaintops of the Giants in Elden Ring. Still, the left side will stay inaccessible until Tarnished have acquired another medallion similar to the one required for the Dectus Lift. Specifically, the Haligtree Secret Medallion is used to operate the Grand Lift of Rold in a way that grants passage to a hidden path leading to the Consecrated Snowfield. From here, players will then be able to travel northwest to the Liturgical Town of Ordina and find the Black Knife Set.

Black Knife Set’s Location in Elden Ring

The Haligtree Secret Medallion has two halves, each hidden within separate regions. The left side of the medallion can be obtained in Castle Sol, located in the northeast of the Mountaintops of the Giants. To acquire the piece, players must defeat an Elden Ring boss on the castle rooftop.

The other half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion is hidden within an obscure location in southwest Liurnia. Albus, an NPC disguised as a pot, will be sitting at the end of an uphill path near the Village of the Albinaurics. Strike him once to remove his guise, and he will give the player the right side of the medallion. Return to the Rold Lift and travel north to Ordina, Liturgical Town. Underneath the long stairway leading down to the town, players will find the Black Knife Set on a corpse.
