Voting has now officially opened on Crunchyroll’s 2023 Anime Awards and as fans scrutinize the nominations, many are frustrated at the exclusion of titles from the recent Fall slate.
However, with the global anime fanbase also featuring millions of fans around the world, there can also be some confusion as to who can vote, and how to successfully submit votes online.
Here is everything that you need to know, including how you can vote in the 2023 Anime Awards, when the voting will close, and which series have been nominated.

How to vote in 2023 Anime Awards
Fans can vote for all categories in the 2023 Anime Awards via the Crunchyroll website once per day, per category.
Users with an active Crunchyroll subscription can access the voting panel here.
Anime fans (over 16 years old) who aren’t active subscribers to Crunchyroll can still vote in the 2023 Anime Awards by submitting your email address after each nomination selection.
Fans can also take advantage of a new way to vote via Twitter; simply post a tweet or retweet a public Twitter message containing the #AnimeAwards hashtag.
Example tweets include ‘SPY x FAMILY: I’m voting for #SPY_FAMILY for #AnimeAwards’, ‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners: I’m voting for #Edgerunners for #AnimeAwards’ or ‘Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2: I’m voting for #AttackOnTitan for #AnimeAwards’.
When does voting close on the 2023 Anime Awards?
Voting for the 2023 Anime Awards close on January 25 at the following international times:
- Pacific Time – 5 PM
- Eastern Time – 8 PM
- British Time – 1 AM
- European Time – 2 AM
- India Time – 6:30 AM
- Philippine Time – 9 AM
- Japan Time – 10 PM
- Australia Central Daylight Time – 11:30 AM
“Since 2017, this global event has annually recognized anime’s finest series and films. This year, the Grand Winner in each category will be revealed at our in-person awards show from the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan on March 4, 2023!
