With the rising popularity of ballroom dancing, its competitiveness, and depictions in pop culture in films like “Silver Linings Playbook” starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, coupled with the posh, diva-like glamour lifestyle that those competitions offer, because it’s not only the dancing skills, but the hair and makeup, it was just a matter of time before a network known for its penchant for glamour like Bravo picked up a show like this for production.

Colette is from Scottsdale, Arizona; she owns her own company and is a single mom to a special needs son. She combines motherhood, running the business, and the everyday with dancing. Her dancing serves as an escape valve from all the stressful situations in her life. Pro-Am teamed her up with pro dancer Alex Pigotskyy.

Donie Burch

Donnie is from New York, she loves dancing so much that she even studied it at college. She dances with Iliah Vinikovskiy and has the typical New Yorker attitude of “I’m here to take it all!” Can she handle the pressure ahead of the competition?

Leonie Biggs

From Haworth, New Jersey, this slender woman dances with Koysta Samarskyi, a new professional partner to whom she must adapt, and we’ll see her journey as Leonie’s competitive nature drives her through the challenges and personal relationships that orbit around her.

Sabrina Strasser

A native of Toronto, Canada, Sabrina will dance with Stanislav Kochergin, a man with whom she’s been romantically involved in the past, and the show will let us explore how her past with Stanislav impacts her performance on the dancefloor.

Pooja Mehta

Another dancer from Scottsdale, Poojah’s fiery temper, will be seen across the episodes, as this makeup artist will dance with Kristijan Burazer, a former dance partner to Colette, and that will surely give us something to talk about across the season. Pooja’s no newbie, as she has already been crowned champion in a competition. So, for the show, she’s bringing her A-game.

Gaëlle Benchetrit 

Gaëlle is from New York, she is a very competitive and talented dancer who will show her dance moves with Nino Langella, a top dancer in the genre. Gaëlle’s dancing career took a brief stop after she had a baby, but she’s back and aiming for the crown!
