Jamison Lafferty Car Accident: The tragic hit-and-run incident that claimed the 14-year-old boy’s life resulted in his sudden passing.

On August 8, a car hit the enthusiastic young man, who was full of dreams and goals, and he passed away suddenly.

His family and the Greenville neighborhood have been devastated by his death, which has left them inconsolable.

What Happened to Jamison Lafferty?

A hit-and-run accident claimed the life of Jamison Lafferty, a 14-year-old from Greenville, Michigan, on August 8, 2023.

He was out for a stroll with two other people on Wise Road, east of W. County Line Road, when a car struck them and then sped away.

Jamison’s two buddies were unharmed and were able to leave the scene, but Jamison unfortunately passed away.

The young man was set to enter the eighth grade at Greenville Middle School and had just celebrated his birthday on Friday.

He was a cherished part of his family and the community in addition to being a talented athlete. His sad passing has left his parents, Alee and Justin Lafferty, and sister, Karlee, heartbroken and inconsolable.

Around 9:30 pm on Tuesday, Jamison and his two friends were strolling on the south side of Wise Road, according to the Michigan State Police’s Office.

According to reports, the group went to a nearby petrol station to purchase refreshments. At that moment, a dark-colored SUV struck them from behind while driving eastbound on Wise Road, then sped away without stopping.

The SUV’s driver is wanted by the police on suspicion of fleeing the scene of the crime and causing death via careless driving.

Jamison has been described as a vivacious and upbeat young man with boundless energy, an infectious smile, and a compassionate nature.

While mourning this awful death, the neighbourhood joins together to demand justice and a better future.

To ensure that no other family has to go through the same suffering as the one they are currently going through, the Greenville community has rallied together.
