Sinatraa has been suspended from his Valorant league, and he’s taken to Twitter to deny some serious allegations.

A whole load of drama has erupted surrounding professional esports player Sinatraa after his ex-girlfriend made a number of allegations about him.

Valorant creator Riot Games has launched an investigation and announced they have suspended him from playing in the league.

Now, Jay Won has taken to Twitter to deny the allegations. Here’s all the drama explained…

Who is Sinatraa?

Jay Won, better known by his online name Sinatraa, is an American professional esports player who currently plays for Sentinels in Valorant.

The 20-year-old from Washington is best known for formerly competitively playing the game Overwatch for the San Francisco Shock and was named 2019’s most vaulable player in the Overwatch league.

He is also big on social media, with 60,000 followers on Instagram and 130,000 on Twitter.

Sinatraa denies allegations

Sinatraa took to Twitter on Wednesday (March 10th) to deny a number of allegations.

“It is clear from Cleo’s recent post that she recalls our relationship differently than I do. What we do agree on is that it was unhealthy for the both of us,” he said before writing:

“I apologize to Cleo and regret how things ended, but I never assaulted her in any way. I am fully cooperating with the investigations and providing the full audio and video clips Cleo referenced in her post.”

This comes after his ex-girlfriend accused him of alleged sexual assault.

Sinatraa has been suspended from his Valorant league

Following the allegations, Sinatraa has been suspended from playing Valorant.

Valorant’s creator Riot Games posted a statement to Twitter in which they said they are currently investigating the allegations.

Alex Francois, Valorant and Riot Games Global Head of Competitive Operations said:

“We are aware of the current situation regarding Jay Won and have launched an investigation. Per our existing competitive rules and investigative process, a decision has been made to suspend Won throughout the investigation.”

They also confirmed that he will not be participating in this weekend’s Valorant Champions Tour competition.
