Mark Huppe Obituary: Former Saint Thomas Aquinas High School basketball coach Mark Huppe of Overland Park, Kansas, has sadly passed away.

Mark Huppe continues to be impactful to so many people in the Catholic school community, and his presence is still felt by many at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. The great Catholic theologian and philosopher St. Thomas Aquinas is quoted as saying, “There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.” Coach Huppe was a friend to many and his death has left a void in our hearts. But in turning to scripture, we find solace in John 11:25–26: “Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. We lift Coach Huppe, his family, and the St. James Community up in prayer during this difficult time. A great man.
