The Fight Club came to a quick close after Ijin talked with his Uncle Cha, leaving the likes of Shin Il leaving confused. Hyuk Joong will finally be free of the trouble that he had gotten himself into and enjoy life. But now that the school life segment is over, the mercenary side of the story will resume in Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 167.
It is quite an achievement for an action series to be able to entertain the readers for this long. While the premise of the story is simple, the execution is near perfect, which makes this manhwa endearing to all. The switch between the slice-of-life and serious action never gets boring and keeps things interesting for everyone.
But the more interesting part of the manhwa has to be the numbers, the group of mercenaries that were unrivaled in their all. In truth, the numbers were comprised of teenagers who have been trained to kill without a second thought or hesitation. However, all of them have started to change ever since Ijin got his memories back and fit into his life alongside his sister and grandfather.

Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 167 will shift towards the members of the Numbers and a new face. The last chapter had been less action and more about the aftermath of the fight between two factions. Of course, Ijin’s side won, and they are also the good guys in the scenario, so all power to them.
However, with mercenaries, things are never simple, as all of them are characters with complex personalities and agendas. They all had started to assemble after the news of Ijin’s appearance went out, seeking him and what he had been doing. After all, Ijin had to fake his death to escape from the life of a mercenary and join a different group.
Just a few years after joining the group, he recalled his family and finally got to reunite with them. And that was how the story began, but Ijin has a bloody past, and that past won’t forgive him. No matter how much he tries to run away from it, he has to deal with it whenever he comes face to face with it. But he manages to win every time, and this time won’t be any different.

Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 166 starts with Uncle Cha meeting a few of his colleagues. These colleagues in question used to be people with whom he was on odd terms at one point, but that’s in the past. Even the colleagues realize that Cha is treating them generously for his grand demeanor.
The three talked about the new venture that they had started, The Fight Club, not the Tyler Duren one. The other two wanted Cha to be part of the venture, but Cha politely declined the offer, saying it didn’t meet his standards. However, he still offered the two luck in their new business and poured a drink to one of the guys.
The moment was somber till he received a call from Ijin, wondering what it was about. He even joked about how he gets a little shaky whenever Ijin calls him randomly until MC makes a request. Ijin had called on to say that they had gotten involved with the members of the Fight Club and that he should do something about it.
