Michael Andrew Wells is Group Chief Executive, Executive Director of the Company. Mike continuesto develop the operational management of theGroup on behalf of the Board, implementing Board decisions and leading the Executive Directors and senior executivesin the management of all aspects of the day-to-day business of theGroup. Mike has more than three decades’ experience in insurance and retirementservices, having started his career at theUS brokerage house Dean Witter, before going on to become a managing director at Smith Barney Shearson. Mike joined the PrudentialGroup in 1995 and became Chief Operating Officer and Vice-Chairman of Jackson in 2003. In 2011, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Jackson, and joined the Board of Prudential. During hisleadership of Jackson, Mike was responsible for the development of Jackson’s market-leading range of retirementsolutions. He was also part of the Jackson teamsthat purchased and successfully integrated a savings institute and two life companies.
