Audiences flocked to theaters earlier this year to check out No Hard Feelings, an American comedy that feels like a throwback to the genre’s best efforts of the nineties and early 2000s, offering a nude scene that fans really didn’t see coming.
Jennifer Lawrence stars as Maddie, a down-on-her-luck Uber driver who is promised a new car in exchange for ‘dating’ a wealthy couple’s introverted 19-year-old son, Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), but it won’t be easy. No Hard Feelings was finally added to Netflix on Sunday, October 22nd 2023, and the nude scene is going to stir up a frenzy all over again.

Maddie agrees to meet Percy at a bar and he immediately feels awkward being there, telling her he’s not old enough. So, they leave and she tempts him into going skinny dipping at the neighboring beach.
They strip off but from the water they spot a group of teenagers attempting to steal their clothes.
Taking action, she leaves Percy behind and emerges from the water totally naked, fighting them and even throwing in some wrestling moves to get their clothes back. After that, she goes back into the water asking “Where were we?”
It’s an outrageous scene, and audiences have been in shock to see the Academy Award winner for Silver Linings Playbook going nude.
“Jennifer Lawrence being fully nude doing a German Suplex was definitely not on my bingo card for 2023,” a viewer tweeted.
“I didn’t have an Oscar-winning actress stripping full nude and suplexing a dude on my bingo card but if you did, cross it off by seeing No Hard Feelings,” another similarly echoed. “JLaw is amazing.”
The 33-year-old actress discussed the scene with Variety, saying “Everyone in my life and my team is doing the right thing and going, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure?’ I didn’t even have a second thought. It was hilarious to me.”

No Hard Feelings is rated R and features a full-frontal nude scene, as discussed, as well as swearing, frequent sex references, and there are also drug references.
A range of swear words are used, including the most offensive of them, the C-word, which is used once. There is also underage drinking depicted and some scenes of violence where characters lash out at one another.
On the whole, it’s the language and sexual innuendo/nudity that land the film its R rating, and it’s definitely not suitable for kids.
