Noel Quinn serves as Group Chief Executive Officer, Group Managing Director, Executive Director of the Company. Noel has more than 30 years of banking and financial services experience, both in the UK and Asia, with over 27 years at HSBC. Noel has held various management roles across HSBC since joining in 1992. He was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Global Commercial Banking, having been appointed to the role in December 2015 and as a Group Managing Director in September 2016. Noel joined Forward Trust Group, a subsidiary of Midland Bank, in 1987 and joined HSBC in 1992 when the Group acquired Midland Bank. He is also a Director of HSBC Bank Canada. Noel Quinn holds a BA (Honours) in Accountancy from Birmingham Polytechnic.
