Paul Brown biography

Paul J. Brown serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Brown has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Brands, Inc., a privately held multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 8,400 Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, SONIC Drive-In, and Rusty Taco locations worldwide, since February 2018. Prior to his current position, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. (a privately held company) from May 2013 until February 2018. He served as President, Brands and Commercial Services for Hilton Worldwide, a global hospitality company, from 2008 to April 2013. Prior to that, he was with Expedia Inc., for four years, most recently serving as President, Expedia North America and Expedia Inc. Partner Services Group. From 2001 through 2005, Mr. Brown was a Partner with McKinsey & Co. in their London and Atlanta offices. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Vice President of Brand Services for Intercontinental Hotels Group, a Manager with the Boston Consulting Group, Inc., and a Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting. Mr. Brown received a Bachelors degree in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Mr. Brown is a member of the board of directors of J. C. Penney Company, Inc., a publicly held department store chain, and FOCUS Brands, Inc., a privately held restaurant company. Mr. Brown previously served on the board of Lindblad Expedition Holdings, Inc. from July 2015 until October 2017. He also serves on the boards of the Georgia Tech Foundation, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Brand USA, and The Woodruff Arts Center.
