Born on June 10, 1989, she is 32 years old and has worked with various news outlets such as Fox News, Yahoo Finance, Fox 32, Fox 13, Fox 2, and Fox 5. She completed her education with a degree in Broadcast, Journalism, and Communications from the United States.
Vaughn joined Fox News as part of the junior reporter program in 2014 and transitioned to Fox Network in 2016. She honed her reporting skills through the second class of the Junior Reporter Program at Fox News, eventually becoming a field reporter. Her work took her to different countries, where she covered events featuring notable personalities. She gained recognition for her coverage of presidential campaigns and the latest updates during the COVID-19 pandemic. Vaughn was a ground reporter in Des Moines, Iowa, before the 2020 Iowa Caucuses.

Vaughn shared the story of her daughter’s birth, revealing that she was traveling to Capitol Hill when her water broke. Luckily, she had already met Senator Barrasso, who is also a doctor, a day prior and was advised to reach out to him if there were any issues.

Peter’s father, Steve, expressed his joy in an interview with People, making a reference to his book on fatherhood. He congratulated Peter on entering the “third round” of fatherhood, stating that there are three stages in a man’s life: when he believes in Santa Claus, when he doesn’t believe in Santa Claus, and when he becomes Santa Claus.
Hillary Vaughn and Peter Doocy began dating in 2017 when they both worked for Fox News. They later got engaged and had a private wedding ceremony in April 2021. Peter Doocy, a White House correspondent for Fox News, initially served as a general assignment reporter.
