King Harris, the 18-year-old son of rapper T.I., was recently arrested. The teen spoke about his latest run-in with law enforcement following his release and hit back at people who were saying he’s ‘tryna be gangsta.’
According to HipHopDX, King was arrested on Wednesday, August 31, but it’s unclear why, at the time of writing.
Shortly after his release, the teenager took to his Instagram to address the situation by posting a series of stories.

In a video posted by The Shade Room, the 18-year-old is seen sitting in a car after his release. Accompanied by a female friend, he goes over the violations they were slapped with.
King apparently had committed four violations while his friend only committed one – not wearing a seatbelt.
Replying to those who said he didn’t deserve to be arrested, King wrote, “Y’all right, We too rich fa da s**t! I agree.”
He also said that he didn’t want to get get into trouble.
“I’m sorry that a muthaf**ka caught me while I was on my way to vacation. I’m sorry, I thought I was doing what a young n***a was supposed to do. I ain’t wanna be in there.”
King then addressed those saying he’s trying to be a gangster. “Everybody that’s saying n***a tryna be gangsta. I ain’t ask for the police to pull me over,” he said.

While King has gained a fair bit of attention following his recent arrest, he is also popular for his rapping skills.
Following in dad T.I’s footsteps, King is trying to carve out a rapping career for himself.
He recently dropped his latest single, “New King of The South.” The song’s music video was released five days ago and has clocked over 5,500 views on his YouTube channel. He boasts close to 8,000 subscribers on the video-sharing platform, at the time of writing.
King, who also goes by the moniker Kid Saiyan, has also released songs like Talk to Ya, which came out in May 2022, Wild Rock$tars and Shorty, which dropped last year.

The 41-year-old rapper is a father of seven.
His eldest is Messiah Harris, 22, who he shares with Lashon Dixon. The pair also shares another son named Domani Harris, who is 21 in 2022.
T.I. shares three of his kids – King, Major Philant (14), and Heiress Diana (6) – with his ex-wife, Tiny Harris. The pair were married for six years between 2010 and 2016.
He shares his 21-year-old daughter, Deyjah Imani Harris, with Ms. Niko. He has another daughter named Deyjah, but her mother’s identity has not been revealed.
