Return to Player is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the sadistic gods have transformed the earth into a playground of death out of boredom. The game required the humans to kill strong monsters to survive in real life. Kim Sehan had seen how the game would actually unfold – everyone except him will die battling for their lives. When Sehan is given the opportunity to go back in time, he is determined to take it and make sure that things that happened before do not repeat themselves again.

Previously in Return to Player, Morgan is still fighting the monster who has taken a keen interest in her. He exclaims that Morgan is an interesting entity, a fairy who has survived through the mythical age. The monster asks Morgan if she is his opponent, and Morgan says that she would be more interested in watching the sword owner fight him. Morgan also declares that she has lived long enough and fulfilled her life’s mission. The sword owner gets back up and begins fighting the monster, but he is too overwhelmingly strong.

The monster reduces his size so they are at eye level, and they begin battling once more. Morgan is shocked to see how powerful the monster truly is and his barbaric attacks on their party. The sword owner is knocked back from the impact of an attack, and Morgan becomes his next target. Just as he launches a vicious attack in her direction, it is blocked by the Demon of Sloth, Azazel. She tells the monster that she has come at someone’s request to block him for 10 minutes which shocks the monster immensely.

On the other hand, Rin Taylor sees Azazel and the monster interact, and she questions if she can really do it. Rin takes up her hourglass and begins performing some magic that catches the monster’s attention. He tries to attack Rin, but his attempts are blocked by Azazel, who refuses to budge. The monster’s second attack is blocked by Astra, and the monster asks why she is protecting an anomaly in the system. Astra tells him that the morals of humans have collapsed, and she is here to give them the Justice of Mankind back.
