Longtime Singing News columnist, Roy Pauley dies following courageous battle with cancer in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 12, 2023. Pauley was 74.
Roy was a singing evangelist, a columnist for Singing News for some 40 years, and he was a very gifted artist.
“Roy Pauley said good bye down here in the wee early morning hours. His impact will definitely live on, but we are going to miss him for sure,” Charlie Griffin wrote in a tribute post shared on social media.
“Roy and his wife Amy were active in evangelism for many years. But most will know him for his love of gospel music. Roy was a long time Singing News contributor, artist and talented singer in his own right. Amy was too a gifted singer and pianist. She is Roy’s biggest fan!”
