Ryan Fowler biography
Ryan W. Fowler serves as Senior Vice President - Exploration of the Company. Mr. Fowler has almost 30 years of experience in exploration and production activities in Canada and Internationally since entering the oil and gas sector in 1988. He served as Vice President Exploration for Parex from 2012 to 2017. As New Ventures Exploration Manager for Petro Andina and then Parex from 2008 to 2012, he was directly involved in Petro Andina’s entry into and Parex’s success in Colombia. Prior to joining Petro Andina, Mr. Fowler held management positions in Northern Alberta production and International New Ventures at Husky Energy from 2005 to 2008. He also held various senior technical positions at Husky Energy, Canadian 88 Energy, and Rigel Oil & Gas focused on foothills and deep basin exploration in Alberta, British Colombia, the NWT, and Wyoming after starting his career as a geologist at Amoco Canada. Mr. Fowler graduated from the University of British Colombia in 1988 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering.
