Stephen M.R. Covey serves as Independent Director of the Company. He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of CoveyLink Worldwide, LLC, since 2004, and is the co-founder of FranklinCovey’s Speed of Trust Practice, where he has taught trust and leadership in 55 countries to business, government, and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Covey is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Covey Leadership Center, where he grew the company to become one of the largest leadership development firms in the world. He is the former Executive Vice President of the Franklin Covey Co., where he also served as President of the Education & Training business unit. Mr. Covey is The New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Speed of Trust, and is co-author of the Amazon bestseller, Smart Trust. Mr. Covey received his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Covey serves on the Government Leadership Advisory Council, and he has been recognized with the lifetime Achievement Award for “Top Thought Leaders in Trust” from the advocacy group, Trust Across America/Trust Around the World.
