TikTok users have been warned against a trend related to a website showing crime scene photos of Jeffrey Dahmer‘s Polaroids.

Ever since Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story was released on Netflix, viewers have been shocked by the chilling story surrounding Dahmer’s horrific crimes.

The 10-episode documentary explores Dahmer’s childhood, the crimes he committed, and his final days in jail before he was killed by a fellow inmate.

One of the episodes looked at how police found dozens of Polaroids in Dahmer’s apartment, which resulted in his arrest.

But recently, many users on TikTok have urged others not to interact with an online trend related to the Polaroid pictures.

TikTokers warn against crime scene photos of Jeffrey Dahmer’s polaroids

In recent days, TikTokers have strongly urged other people not to look up a certain website containing crime scene photos of Dahmer’s Polaroids.

The website contains graphic pictures related to Dahmer and other serial killers that many may find traumatizing and triggering.

How was Jeffrey Dahmer arrested?

Dahmer was caught by police on the night of July 22, 1991, after one of his victims, Tracy Edwards, managed to escape from his apartment.

Wearing a pair of handcuffs, Tracy was fortunate enough to find two Milwaukee police officers. Tracy told the cops he was threatened by Dahmer with a knife, Los Angeles Times reports.

Following the investigation, cops found 80 Polaroid pictures of Dahmer’s victims in an open drawer in his apartment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dahmer pleaded guilty to 16 counts and received 16 life sentences, which is 900 years of jail time. On November 28, 1994, Dahmer was beaten to death by Christopher Scarver, a fellow inmate at the Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin.
