Tricia Kreitzer Education and Career
Born in Natrona Heights on February 5, 1971, Tricia was a well-liked member of her community. Leah (Rodgers) Kreitzer and John Kreitzer, her parents, were very important in her upbringing in Natrona.
Following her graduation from Highlands High School in 1989, Tricia went on to Duquesne University to further her studies, earning a master’s degree in education as well as a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Tricia had an unwavering passion for science and devoted almost thirty years of her life to the teaching profession.
She was a respected faculty member at Keystone Oaks High School for twenty-seven years, during which time she left a lasting impression on her students. Her students were enthralled and curious as a result of her dynamic demonstrations and colourful tie-dye laboratories, which frequently filled her classroom.
Tricia’s greatest source of fulfilment, aside from her career accomplishments, was her beloved family and friends. Tricia was involved in the community in addition to her family.
She devoted her life to promoting girls’ hockey in the Pittsburgh region while serving as the North Hills Amateur Hockey Association’s Director of Girls Hockey and past Treasurer. She was an active member of the Eagles in New Kensington, where her services were widely appreciated, and her zeal and dedication knew no bounds.
