Vinland Saga Chapter 201 Recap

The Vikings have arrived in Markland, and since they can not stay on land for longer. They have to avoid being spotted by the LNU, so they have to move to the shores. The old man, that seems to be the only survivor so far, seems to have interesting information to reveal. They found him very weak and offered him something to eat. 

He tells the Vikings that the indigenous people are gone and that there is not even one of them left in Markland. They are all dead, and the old man saw it himself, the Utqotaqan. The birds were possessed by the spirits of the dead, so everyone died as well. He then asked if Vinland was still safe, and they told him that they had not been back for their regular visit in three months, so they had no idea what was going on over there. 

The old man continues with his talks and reveals that if the people of Vinland are still safe, they should prepare to evacuate while they still can. What happened in Mrklan will definitely happen in Vinland as well, so somebody has to warn them. They can not coexist with the indigenous people, so everyone must flee Vinaland before a war starts.
