David Silver and Mattel have been together since 2016. Fans got a look into Mattel’s private lives through a Netflix documentary.

Also, Silver is the caring and supportive boyfriend of the performer. But he’s not like most boyfriends on stage. Silver has been working in movies for more than 15 years. He has worked on big Hollywood movies like The Break-Up, which starred Jennifer Aniston, and Batman Begins.

Even though they try to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, Mattel keeps talking about Silver in public. She even gave him credit for her “Grown Up” tour, which is coming up soon.

Mattel said, “David went to school with Nick, who is a great filmmaker and the perfect person to just follow you around on your shoulder and get all of this.” Mattel is very private when she’s not on stage, which is why she was hesitant to make the docu-film at first.

In the end, Trixie agreed to be in the documentary, which wowed everyone.

Trixie Mattel didn’t have parents who were there for her

Trixie Mattel’s parents were not very helpful. Trixie and her brother were raised by their mother and stepfather. When Mattel acted like a girl, her stepfather, who was homophobic, called her Trixie.

Mattel chose Trixie as her drag name in the end. The abuse sometimes went beyond insults and turned physical. Her mother didn’t help her much, and when social services came to take Trixie away, she didn’t say anything.

Trixie doesn’t like to think about these memories because they are sad and scary. Mattel’s mother is partly to blame for how hard Mattel’s childhood was, but Trixie doesn’t hate her. Her brother, on the other hand, hated their mother for a long time before he could forgive her.

As Trixie grew up, she was cared for and supported by the adults in her family. Her grandfather taught her how to play the guitar, which got her interested in music.

A friend gave Trixie’s brother a guitar, but he only played it for a week before he stopped. When Trixie was 13, her grandfather helped her start to learn how to play.
