Where can I watch Winnie The Pooh horror movie Blood And Honey and is it streaming? HITC explains.

What famous books, movies, and shows made your childhood such a great one? There are perhaps too many to count but we’d bet there’s one that fills a special place in your heart even to this day.

For some of you, that will be Winnie The Pooh.

A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard’s book series first introduced readers to the titular Pooh bear in 1926 and since then we’ve seen numerous incarnations, whether that’s from Disney movie efforts or shows or, indeed, beyond.

Nevertheless, there’s no way you’ve seen Pooh in the way presented in Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey.

Along with the likes of Skinamarink, it’s proven to be one of the most discussed low-budget horror movies in recent memory. With that in mind, you may be asking: Where can I watch Winnie The Pooh horror movie Blood And Honey and is it streaming?

Where can I watch Winnie The Pooh horror movie Blood And Honey?

Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey is screening in the US exclusively in theaters from Wednesday, February 15th 2023. You can find local tickets and showtimes on Fandango.

On the other hand, UK audiences eagerly anticipating the movie will have to wait for the UK release date of Friday, March 10th 2023. As of yet, cinemas are the only place to see Blood And Honey and no streaming release date has been announced.

Directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield (it’s his directorial feature debut), Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey presents the audiences with the tale of Pooh and Piglet, who have reverted back to their primal instincts in the absence of their human friend, Christopher Robin.

After he left for college, the animals felt abandoned and had to turn to drastic measures to stave off starvation.

Now, Christopher returns to Hundred Acre Wood and is faced with a murderous Pooh and Piglet, who also begin to target a group of university students who are holidaying in a nearby woodland cabin. Ultimately, it’s Winnie The Pooh reimagined as a sadistic slasher movie.

‘They don’t have any remorse’

The director recently sat for an interview with Dread Central and was asked just how violent the film is:

“Pooh and Piglet, they don’t have any remorse, and they’re actually pretty sadistic. That was something I wanted from the characters. It’s always been just Pooh and Piglet. I’ve imagined, and got the actors, to portray that Pooh as the alpha of the two. So he’s the alpha male over Piglet, and he is always the one in charge of the camp.”

He added: “Piglet essentially is almost a little minion to him, and Piglet just does whatever Pooh wants. And they’ve built up this over the years. They’ve built up these really sadistic tendencies amongst themselves. So they used to just go out and just target people to kill them, to eat them as a way of living … just food basically.”

Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey is now playing in theaters in the US.
