A six-year-old girl nickname ‘TikTok Princess’ has sadly died in a shooting in Miami on Saturday, the Miami Herald reports.
Tributes are flooding social media for a young Florida girl who has passed away after being shot in Miami last week.
The family held a candlelight vigil for the young girl who is going viral for her love of the social media app TikTok.

Who was ‘TikTok Princess’ Chassidy Saunders?
Chassidy Saunders was a six-year-old girl from Florida who has been described by her family as a ‘TikTok Princess’ due to her love of the social media app.
She only had 126 followers on her account @chassidysaunders, but is said to have been a huge fan of the app and gained her nickname ‘TikTok Princess’ after posting a series of dance videos.
Chassidy has sadly died in a Miami shooting.
Chassidy dies in Miami Shooting
Chassidy has sadly passed away after being shot in a Miami shooting on Saturday (January 16th), ABC-affiliated news station WFTV News reports.
The shooting occurred at around 7pm when a gunman opened fire outside a home in Miami where Chassidy had attended a birthday party.
Chassidy was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and died there several hours later. Two other adults were also shot and wounded but were not killed.
The Miami Police Department has not yet released specific details about the shooting and the family is currently calling for information.
Chassidy’s family held a candlelight vigil
On Monday, Chassidy’s family and other members of the community gathered to hold a candlelight vigil in memory of her.
State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said in a statement:
“It is heart-rending that 6-year-old Chassidy Saunders dies a victim of gun violence on the eve of a day dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr., a prince of peace and justice. This beautiful child should not have been victimized by those who believe only in violence and death. I know that the City of Miami police and my prosecutors will leave no stone unturned in their efforts to obtain justice for Chassidy.”
