This Summer’s big new musical comedy CRAZY FOR YOU opens at the Gillian Lynne Theatre on 24 June for a strictly limited season.

The production originally opened in Chichester last year gaining 5-star reviews, standing ovations and quickly selling out its entire run. Starring Charlie Stemp, the Olivier-nominated star of Mary Poppins and Half a Sixpence with Carly Anderson, Tom Edden together in a 34-strong cast along with one of the West End’s largest musical orchestras of 17.

Directed and choreographed by multi-Tony and Olivier award winner Susan Stroman, Crazy for You promises a riotously entertaining evening overflowing with glorious Gershwin melodies (including Someone to Watch Over Me, I Got Rhythm and They Can’t Take That Away from Me).

Theatre-mad Bobby Child is torn between his show-business dreams and running the family bank. He reluctantly heads west to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a theatre’s mortgage, only to fall for the theatre owner’s daughter, Polly. Desperate to prove his good faith, Bobby decides to put on a show – complete with dancers from the glamorous Zangler Follies in New York City – to save the theatre, renew the town and hopefully win Polly’s love.

Terms & Conditions: One reader will win two Premium tickets to see Crazy For You at the Gillian Lynne Theatre plus overnight stay at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel, including a pre-theatre meal and breakfast. Valid until 30 September 2023, subject to availability. No cash alternative. Travel not included.  Any additional expenses incurred are the responsibility of the winner. Cannot be used in conjunction with any offer. The pre-theatre dinner will be 2-courses.
